The Broadway hit "A Doll's House - part 2" is the sequel to one of the world's most performed plays: the Ibsen classic "A Doll's House".

In autumn 2023, Pia Tjelta (Nora Helmer) will give life to one of the world's most important female theater roles when the award-winning sequel is opening at Christiania Theatre. Joining her on stage is, Ola G. Furuseth (Torvald) and theater legend Anne Marit Jacobsen (the maid).

"A Doll's House - part 2" is written by the award-winning American playwright Lucas Hnath. In this intelligent, existential and humorous drama - we are back 15 years after Nora slammed the door. The play is a continuation of Ibsen's complex exploration of traditional gender roles, and portrays an intelligent contemporary perspective on the struggles, weaknesses and insights found in all human relationships.

After Nora has created a completely new life for herself, she now finds herself in a situation where she has to ask her former husband, Torvald, for a favor. But such a meeting requires Nora to be confronted with her past. In meeting the family she left behind, she must also face herself. Who is she now? And not least: Who are they?

"A Doll's House - part 2" is a captivating story that sets out to answer all the questions the original didn't.
