Den andre mannen i meg

"The other man in me" is a critically acclaimed performance based on the diaries of Olav H. Hauge with Henrik Mestad and saxophonist Trygve Seim.

The critical acclaimed performance has previously had tremendous success at the Nationaltheatre, where it played to full houses and sold out extra performances in 2013. NRK has also produced a magnificent tv-version of the performance, as well as an audio play for radio. Aftenposten's reviewer gave the audio game a six on the dice and praised Mestad for his interpretation of Hauge and his inner battles against mental illness and schizophrenia: "Heart medicine. Here is Henrik Mestad in his best role to date".

On the occasion of the centenary of the poet Olav H. Hauge, actor Henrik Mestad took on the challenge of conveying the violent forces that characterized the author's life and poetry. The result was the critically acclaimed performance "The other man in me", which is based on Hauge's diaries. The renowned saxophonist Trygve Seim has composed the music for the performance and the dramaturg is none other than the dancer Ingrid Lorentzen.
