ESC Lisbon 2018

The Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will be the 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, the EBU's annual song competition for the organisation's members.

The competition will be hosted by Portugal for the first time, after the country won its first victory the year before. The competition will be held in Lisbon, Portugal in May 2018. It will consist of three broadcasts: a semi-final on Tuesday 8 May, a semi-final on Thursday 10 May and the final on Saturday 12 May 2018.

StarWorks returns as viewing room managers, Catarina Furtado, Daniela Ruah, Filomena Cautela and Sílvia Alberto will direct all broadcasts directly from Altice Arena, the country's largest indoor arena with room for around 20,000 spectators. Host broadcaster is RTP, Portugal's public public broadcaster.

43 countries will participate in the competition. The Norwegian entry will be selected in the Melodi Grand Prix in March 2018, where Mattias Carlsson from StarWorks is the stage director.
