In 1978, John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John found each other in the perfect blend of leather jacket and sob spinning love on film. "Grease" is the most watched musical film of all time, and the musical it is based on has been staged all over the world. People can't get enough of lubricating oil, 50s clothes, 70-year-old gender roles and "You're the one that I want, you are the one I want, oo-oo-oo, honey".
In January this year, director Tom Sterri and his army of leather jackets and airy skirts premiered at the Chateau Neuf and people have flocked in the 35,000s to see the musical. Now the whole spettakel comes flying over the watershed and lands in the DNB Arena. It is the first time a musical has been staged in such a large format in this district.
