Rain Man

"Rain Man" is a funny and touching story based on the Oscar-winning film with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. In this version adapted for stage, you will meet Nicolai Cleve Broch and Bjarte Hjelmeland in the lead roles as the Babbitt brothers.

When self-centered car salesman Charlie Babbitt (Nicolai Cleve Broch) receives the news that his wealthy father has passed away, he sees the opportunity to inherit the family fortune. However, the joy is short-lived when he learns that his father has bequeathed everything to his hitherto unknown brother Raymond (Bjarte Hjelmeland). Raymond is a person with very special abilities and a fondness for numbers and routines, who has been secluded in a mental institution for most of his life. Charlie "borrows" Raymond from the institution and sets off on a journey across the United States, hoping to steal the fortune. During the arduous trip, the brothers get closer and closer to each other. Raymond experiences a whole new world outside the fixed confines of the institution, and Charlie discovers that Raymond is worth more than he could have ever imagined…

"Rain Man" is a heartwarming story about two brothers who find their way back to each other in an extraordinary way. The story takes us on a generous time travel back to the 80s and teaches us the meaning of unconditional love.
